EgoTrack

Terms of use

Version 2026-10-22. This is a draft for the pilot and is being reviewed by a Nigerian lawyer.

What EgoTrack is

EgoTrack is a record-keeping tool for traders. It is not a bank. It does not hold, move or lend money. Savings stay with your savings provider; EgoTrack only suggests an amount and records what you tell it you set aside.

Early version

EgoTrack is in a pilot. It is free for now. It may have faults, change, or pause. Keep your notebook as well until you trust it.

Reading your pages

EgoTrack reads handwriting with a computer program that can make mistakes. Nothing counts until you check and confirm it. You are responsible for the records you confirm.

Receipts and records

A receipt or shop record from EgoTrack shows what you entered. A change history shows when records were changed. They help in a dispute, but EgoTrack does not promise that a court, bank or anyone else will accept them, and they are not a tax invoice, a bank statement or a credit rating.

Your responsibilities

  • Keep your sign-in and PIN private. Tell us quickly if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Enter true records. Do not use EgoTrack to deceive anyone or to record anything unlawful.
  • Have a good reason to keep your customers' details and use them fairly.
  • Do not try to break, overload or copy EgoTrack, or to see anyone else's records.

Our responsibilities

We will look after your records as described in the Privacy notice and try to keep EgoTrack running. We cannot promise it will always work, or be free of mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using EgoTrack, such as a sale or debt that was recorded wrongly.

Ending

You can stop at any time and delete your data under More. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.
